Gerry practices in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense law, real estate, corporate and commercial transactions, probates, wills and trusts. He has been the sole legal representative of several local credit unions in all their commercial matters (collections, foreclosures, personnel and employment law issues). He also has represented Bank of America, EquiCredit and NationsCredit in the bankruptcy courts throughout Arizona. Gerry is the attorney for the Diocese of Tucson, handling all diocesan corporate, personnel, and real property matters.

Susan brings exceptional expertise in the area of public law and employment law. Susan has represented the State of Arizona, the Arizona Department of Education, and the Arizona Board of Education in complex litigation regarding financing of public education. She is a recognized expert in procurement law and advises both public entities and private sector clients on a broad range of legal issues and challenges. Susan is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and is Chair of the firm’s Client Committee.

Chas’ extensive appellate experience coupled with his expertise has earned the respect of his peers and appellate judges, as indicated by his election as a Fellow in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Having briefed and argued nearly 200 appeals involving a broad range of cases and issues in both state and federal appellate courts, Chas has become a valuable resource to trial lawyers inside and outside of Gust Rosenfeld. The other focus of Chas’s practice is the resolution of business disputes. He has tried a wide variety of commercial disputes to judges and juries in state and federal courts.
