Gust Rosenfeld Attorneys Honored By Best Lawyers For Being Listed Since The Ranking System Was Developed In 1983
Three Gust Rosenfeld attorneys will be honored April 23-25 for being among only 1,397 lawyers who have been listed in the publication since it began rating lawyers in 1983. Hosted by Best Lawyers in Atlanta, Georgia, the event celebrates the publication’s 25th anniversary and features prominent speakers and a gala at the Georgia Aquarium.
“We are so pleased to honor Fred H. Rosenfeld, Richard A. Segal and Richard H. Whitney as three of the lawyers who have been with us from the start,” says Steven Naifeh, president and founder of Best Lawyers.
Fred Rosenfeld’s practice, built over the last 48 years, emphasizes governmental law, including municipal finance, real estate and legislative law. He is experienced in general obligation, revenue, special tax and assessment bonds, and he represents governmental entities before the State Legislature, issuers, borrowers, trustees, underwriters and financial institutions.
Richard Segal, who has been practicing law for more than 50 years, focuses his practice on commercial, insurance and antitrust litigation. He represents insurance companies, financial institutions, businesses and individuals and has extensive experience in both jury and non-jury trials of tort and antitrust cases.
Practicing for 46 years, Richard Whitney’s legal expertise includes estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships and nonprofit organizations. In particular, he focuses on helping clients with intergenerational family issues.
“All three of these men enjoy remarkable careers in their respective practice areas and each has played an instrumental role in building our firm into what it is today,” said Tom Chauncey II, member of Gust Rosenfeld’s Executive Committee. “We offer our firm’s sincere congratulations to each of them.”
