Laura Sever Blanco concentrates her practice on real estate transactional law and general corporate law. Laura’s experience includes a wide range of real estate transactions including commercial, retail, and residential acquisitions, financing, development, leasing, and regulatory issues. Her corporate law expertise includes business formation, commercial transactions, lending, and capital formation.
Laura has represented lenders and borrowers in complex loan transactions, national retailers, national and local home builders, and federal regulatory agencies. Her commercial finance experience includes negotiating senior and subordinated loan documents, loan modifications and workouts, land bank financing, large commercial project refinancing, and mezzanine financing.
Laura serves as a mediator and arbitrator in various commercial and corporate disputes including real estate acquisitions, development, financing, leasing, and regulatory issues. She also has experience with disputes involving business formation, financing, and contract disputes.
Before joining Gust Rosenfeld, Laura was general counsel for a local homebuilder. Laura has served as in-house counsel for a real estate developer and one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world.
