Jennifer was given the award during the ASPAA’s Fall Conference

(Phoenix, AZ) November 21, 2016 – Gust Rosenfeld is pleased to announce that Jennifer MacLennan was awarded the Friends of ASPAA (Association of School Personnel Administrators Association) for her service and contributions to the ASPAA. This is the first time that the ASPAA has honored someone with this award.

Jennifer has been an active contributor to the organization for the past 10 years. She has provided numerous presentations and continuing education sessions to ASPAA members.

Since 1970, ASPAA has been a vital and strategic resource to school districts throughout Arizona. ASPAA is the only organization that specifically targets and represents school personnel professionals. ASPAA promotes the interchange of ideas, data, and information regarding talent management and other best human resource management practices in order to effect advancement in the administration of school personnel. The ASPAA is going to assist in hosting the national organization’s national conference in Phoenix next year.

Jennifer’s practice consists of representation of school districts in all legal matters. Jennifer assists school districts with their business needs and compliance reviews, including review of procurement issues; preparation of intergovernmental agreements; lease-purchase agreements; Open Meeting Law compliance; counseling human resource departments; special education litigation; and representing clients in civil rights and employment discrimination matters.
